CATHOLIC EXPONENT
The diocesan newspaper is The Catholic Exponent. The paper published continuously since 1944, exists to inform, to instruct and to unify those Catholics who live within the six counties of the diocese. The paper operates independently, but is published every other week at Central Services. Mailed to 37,000 homes throughout the diocese, the Catholic Exponent includes diocesan events, articles by diocesan staff members and clergy, as well as columns by nationally known writers. Many homes receive the paper through the Complete Parish Coverage Plan, whereby the parish subscribes for its parishioners, and parishioners contribute to the subscription. Subscriptions are also available on an individual basis. The Exponent is staffed by an editor/general manager, managing editor, a business manager, an advertising coordinator, sales associate, and production and secretarial personnel. Pastors, Principals, and Directors of Religious Education are only some of the people who find The Catholic Exponent's 26 issues per year an invaluable resource for news about the Church in the Diocese of Youngstown and beyond. Our 37,000 households and 90,000 weekly readers find us to be an important source of news, information and inspiration, too!
Subscriptions: $20/year Special rates available for Complete Parish Coverage.
